i've double check, no contain virus at all.
Maybe your computer 've infected by virus, previously..

the mfm's garmin map was compiled in EXE file packet.
actually this exe file is clean (i was double check with antivirus & open it manually trace with debug).
it's sterile.

Maybe your computer have virus previously, so
after download it, the virus can be infected to this exe packet file.

try with other computer, if any.

Turn off your GPS, and re-start again.

MAP INFO will show if the MFM map has been successfully loaded in the device.

i restarted my 3790, and it still didnt show the 110131 map, i tried to put MFM110117 back, but it also wont show, now i notice i cant even deleted the map
but i install MSMv308, it show in mymap list, but not MFM110131 or MFM110117 now i cant delete any of the map... which force me to use MSM
need help here for MFM CNY version!!! [/quote]


Download MFM 110117
Hook up your device to your PC / Lappy follow instructions
Generate the gmapsupp.img ( have polygons removed )
Let installer transferred to your device sd card /garmin
Use Windows explorer to manually transfer the gmapsupp.img from SD/garmin directory to SD/map directory. ( you can rename the file to MFM110117 for easier tracking of map version )

i dont have sd card in my 3790, but i do copy the file to my MAPS directory in device memory, reboot d device, but eveything same... i managed to update the City navigator and malsingmap NT to 2010.40, they show up in my map list except MFM i tried delete all file in my MAPS folder but unable to delete MSMv5.08, i wonder y is it the MSM cause MFM not showing in map list?

managed to deleted MSMv508, tried generate MFM110131 and MFM110117 and put into device\MAP... but no luck, map list didnt show MFM, but from setting\about, saw malfreemap copyright... i wonder y the maplist didnt show malfreemap
