i'm newbie here.

how come i put the latest map into garmin, there is show no map on right bottom corner?

anyone can help? or did i install incomplete?

saya telah berjaya menghilangkan set peta yg tidak diperlukan dalam Nuvi 1460 saya dgn hanya menggunakan peta dari MFM, saya memasang peta tersebut menggunakan perisian MapSource seperti berikut;

Soalan saya; kenapa ada 2 peta dgn nama yang sama "Malfreemaps 091123"? atau perlukah saya tidak menanda pada satu peta tersebut.

currently i'm using garmin for nk5800. when i go view map, there is show wording " no map " at the right bottom corner screen. but i have put the map correctly into garmin folder , nv rename or edit it .

Utk dipendekkan cerita, memang macam tu dan biar saja dua2 peta ditandakan.

Firstly, make sure that the map has been installed correctly by verifying in GMXT, select Tools > Manage My Data > Map Sets.

Secondly, if you don't know already, the map view page shows current location or location of the last GPS fix. If the location is not within the map, there will be no detailed map shown. If there is no base map installed, there will be no map at all.

Lastly, (if there are no issues with points #1 and #2) check the zoom level, ie. zoom in further until detailed map is shown.

seperti yang saya janjikan, tiada nama & peta yang dipaparkan (skrin putih) jika peta tersebut hanya dipindahkan ke dalam folder \Garmin, peta tersebut perlu dipindah secara salin & tampal atau menggunakan MapSource ke dalam folder \Map. Harap info ini dapat membantu rakan2 yg baru menggunakan Nuvi 1460.
