Hi, I'm a newb. I have error in routing with Garmin MobXT 5.0.2. with this map. May I know how to to edit or draw a road that is not in the map and have garmin to route via the new drawn road? Is there any thread on this and Q&A, FAQs and histories?

Thank you.

Check back few releases before. I have implemented control to curb abuse as the monthly download bandwidth as shot up so high that if I don't take action, soon the hosting provider will shut me out or demand I upgrade to a much higher plan @ a high price (>S$100/mth) which I am not ready to fork out from own pocket per month.

Here is the bandwidth utilization for Jan 2010 to Mar 2010 (before control implementation) and Apr 2010 (after control implementation):

Code: Select all

Month   Unique visitors   Number of visits   Pages      Hits      Bandwidth
Jan 2010      963            1286            1580      1580      74.27 GB
Feb 2010      1883            2245            4573      4573      186.97 GB
Mar 2010      2486            3201            4415      4415      215.94 GB
Apr 2010      609            978            1407      1407      56.18 GB

In Feb & Mar, the bandwidth shot up to 2 & almost 3 times of the agreement I made with the hosting provider (it is already higher than the normal bandwidth for the price I paid). In all fairness, the hosting provider has been rather lenient and hasn't been a hardcore go-by-book provider, which in return for the kindness the provider has rendered, I have implemented control to curb the sudden shoot-up of bandwidth/traffic.

The SG Mirror will work 100% fine for all SG broadband (SingTel, StarHub, PacNet, M1), thus for those from Singapore, please use the SG mirror as it's hosted in SG thus aid in helping to reduce overseas bandwidth utilization, not to mention the ability to hit up to and beyond 10Mbps whenever there isn't high load/high concurrent downloads.

For those from Malaysia, please give me some time to slowly fine tune the control. This is becoz the log analysis seems to indicate MY ISPs' proxies may be the cause of bandwidth shot up due to its overly aggressive caching configurations/frequencies. Once the culprit(s) has been pin-point, the control will be more lax so that the entire MFM community will benefit.

Thanks chaicka,

Althought your intention is good, kindly allow la a few percent for MY domain. You can set for 'first come first serve' basis. If reach the set limit, only then you can block any access from MY domain... just a thought...

My Server shown as follow:

April 19 - April 25, 2010 - 28.2074Gb Data transfer
April 26 - May 2, 2010 - 72.9697Gb data transfer

Based on this statistic, we can forcast the monthly traffic flow is > 200Gb per mth.

The hosting I use is a shared hosting, not a dedicated server or virtual server, thus have limited control on how to configure the throttling.
If you do know how it can be done, please PM me and I will be glad to improve the control.

Right now, I think I have narrow down a few ip ranges that is leeching alot.
