The time and effort that you put in to come -up with this extremely useful POI is simply priceless. Hanya Allah yang dapat membalasnya. :tq:

Bro karkeys,
:good:
Maybe members can start to contribute here. Custom poi is an indepedent add-on. Give some guidance/standard of your compilation for members to contribute. I can contribute some.

For newbies, Custom POI is not a necessary to install in ur gps, it just like accessories to make our gadget look "wow! canggih!". There are other extra features u can do/experiment with garmin gps. Besides Custom POI, u can do also TourGuide. Have fun with our gadget, thats what we want rite?

Sorry to side track... did you know that when your Nuvi or Papago changes from Day to Night view, it is time for Maghrib prayers? You need to set it to Auto, not Day or Night views to enable this feature.

youre welcome..
actually, this is only freetime project due to appreciation of mosque architecture in malaysia.
my main target is compilation of photos due to my interest in photography, therefore i need to know the location for my photo session visit (and prayer also :) ).

My info is based on..
1) Jabatan agama on every state
2) Mosque group in flickr
3) Existing POIS in MFM/Googlemap/Wikimapia
4) Independet web related mosque/travel

After getting the info, i'll try best to have a visit for photosession..and reconfirmation of mosque specific name.
The problem i face is about thousand of mosques all over malaysia..therefore i just put the priority on KL Territory mosques first, then state mosque, then historical value mosque, then district mosque..
Another problem is POIs in MFM mostly only state generic mosque name, therefore hard to identify the extra photos and info from the web.

So far only KL mosque already completed,
and for others i just gathered location/data/photos only..but not yet compiled.

If members want to contribute, what i need is
1) location
2) brief historical info
3) photos

if specific info of the mosque is on the web, just give the link and specify exact position. I will update accordingly.

Below is link of GPI file updated from previous mosque GPI (contain 82pois)
Data below contains about 131 pois.
