Yay finally! Down with the AES! Get rid of the one at Slim River. It's a real money making machine that one! It's a 3 lane straight road, why the hell do they need an AES there? It's not an accident area and it's obvious cars can go faster on a straight road. This is just to catch people unawares! Useless govt!

For GMXT, there will not be any audio alert.
If you are travelling below the speed limit, a drop-down label
will warn you of the speed trap.

I am using the compilation of C-POIs dated 121215 on my Nuvi1355
There is no AES alert when I was approaching to a AES Camera toward KL from Johor (About at 301KM)
I only be alerted after passed by the AES camera.

Please update to the latest version.
If you happen to pass that way,
kindly provide the exact location of the AES Camera
to enable us to correct the situation.

The Following are the information that might help: -
Location = (KM301.9KM) Kajang
GPS = 02.97565, 101.74259
Camera Type = Fixed
Speed Limit = 90

In fact, I am using the latest Version which is Ver1.3 on that day
I will re-test again using both GPS Devices (Nuvi 205 & Nuvi 1355) to counter check.

Thank you Bro for the excellent detailed report.
I have installed pre-alert triggers in the location you mentioned and
this will be reflected in the next version update.
However, do conduct another test but be mindful that if you do not exceed the official SL,
the alert may not sound.
Please note that I am NOT asking you to speed-test on the road.
In fact, you can test the alert in simulation mode by increasing its speed if you are using Nuvi 2575R.
:tq: :good:
