How about 0x003b for man-made pools including swimming pool?
0x22 - accommodation (please propose color)
0x23 - community centre (please propose color)
0x24 - entertainment/leisure (please propose color)
0x25 - badmiinton/tennis court/etc (please propose color)
I used 0x70 to 0x7f for testing. They can be released for Chinwy's proposed polygons for vegetation

Some colour suggestions:
0x22 - accommodation/lodging (AEBB33)
0x23 - community centre (CC6622)
0x24 - entertainment/leisure (DD9D66)
0x25 - badminton/tennis court/etc (66CCAA)
PS: Any inspiration from Singapore Land Authority's map?

Re: MFM polygon project
Okay my first polygon MP for klang based on MFM v1.10 polylines/polygons. So far I've only used the following polygons ...
* House (0x10, polygon) ... I treat terrace, semi-d, garden bungalows similarly; as one block of houses. Only discrete bungalows with big courtyards merit own polygons. ;-)
* Shops (0x8, polygon)
* City Park (0x17, polygon)
* Scrub (0x4f, polygon) ... used instead of city park, for heavy head-high lallang/bushes/smalltrees area
* Building (0x13, polygon) ... used for mosque area, the icon marks the mosque main building (is there something better for mosque area?)

Should we group places of worship under our proposed "Community Centre" polygon?

Or inspiration from this OSM map features page, especially on colour choices?

Agreed. Since the POIs for places of workship in under "Community" category in my Nuvi.
Possible, general principle ...
(1) polygons definition should be as general as possible (eg. city park for all parks/fields)
(2) polygons can be named to be more specific (eg. name city park polygon as playground or field, or name house polygon as 2storey Semi-D)
(3) pois can be placed on polygons to also make it more specific (eg. place parking poi on city park polygon).

Mmm ... where do we need "acommodation/lodging" instead on "House (0x10, polygon)" or "Residential Building (0x11, polygon)"? Do we want it to be the encompassing polygon to House and Residential Building?

Re: MFM polygon project
Clarification required.
Refer to photo below. 0x11 means the residential building itself or the residential area which contain all the apartment block? What I am doing is for example Lili Apartment below, all the area which surrounded with fencing I used 0x11 & all the residential building inside the area I used 0x13.
Please confirm

As I understand them:
0x10 - House = Landed residential housing
0x11 - Residential Building = Flats, apartments, condominiums
0x22 - Accommodation = Hotels, serviced apartments, hostels(?)
In the current F-NPM, I have been using 0x11 for school hostels. Maybe that'll change.

GHz,
I've been using 0x0002 (Small Urban Area) for apartment/flat compounds and 0x0003 (Rural Housing area) for most other compounds.

We haven't really arrived at a consensus which way to follow.

Re: MFM polygon project
Option 1
Mmm ... based on colour coordination, I'm inclined to GHz's option 2 for apartment/flat compounds with multiple buildings in the area.

Re: MFM polygon project
My opinion some of our DIY poly doesnt look nice if you view it from Track Up view but with 3D view should be all right.
Great job to all!
