New road linking KL-Ipoh road and Bidor-T.Intan road

Postby amedoz » Mon Sep 21, 2009 10:19 am

Hi,
Accidently discovered this new road while trying to avoid traffic crawls on trunk road outside Bidor during Aidil Fitri balik kampung recently. This road bypasses Bidor town for those wanting to get to Teluk Intan.

If you're coming from Sungkai and heading to Teluk Intan, yes, it's a shorter route since you'll be bypassing pekan Bidor.
How to go to this route? You either download this track to your GPS device and manually follow it (I think. I never done this before) or just wait for the mapper to add the route in the next MFM release.

on 26th Sep, I just used this New road which total length 5.5km, but
From N4 04.449 E101 16.589 to N4 04.357 E101 17.355, total 1.5km still without tar.
Should be 75% tar.

Didn't really measure it last time, just guessing only! Thanks for the correction anyway.

early Oct i passed by the junction.
its brightly lit up, but the directional signs and distance to destinations are not on the board yet.
i guessed its not really ready for use. traffic lights at the start of this new road is yet to be operational.
