MFM Google Search

Try to search "Malaysia GPS Map" and turn out MFM still at No 6 place at Google search engine. :cry:

I recall doing Google searches for MSM during our first year. I stopped bothering after MSM reached the top.

MSM popularity is the product of 4 years of diligent work by a small group of dedicated members. MFM is only 4 months old. I doubt we can dislodge MSM from the top. I don't think it is necessary. I'll be satisfied with second place and I think we will be second by mid of 2009 :D

what happen if we click the promote button?

When I clicked the promote button MFM position moved to no 1, and it stays there even on subsequent searches. When I use a different browser the position is at 4, up 2 places =D>

Cannot confirm this. The promote button only appear when you are logged in and only affect the results that you see. I suspect it has some weight to the way google rank search results. If everyone here sign in to google and click on the promote button, maybe it'll have enough vote to put MFM at no 1

Current ranks:

It seems that MFM does not rank high when there's garmin in the keywords

Thanks for pointing out. Will add more "Garmin" words in the public download topics.
