On my Nuvi550, no "red squares" icons.

When I generate the map, i checked these options

It seems like it is happening on my 660 only :(
Didn't have this issue on older versions (3 or 4 versions before).

I just did a hard-reset and cleared all user data; however the "red icons" are still there.
I have used the gmapsupp.img file generated by the exe file as well as using and selecting the same options like what you did and the results are the same in both cases.
Don't know what to do now. :frus:
Wonder if any other 660 owners using this map have these red icons showing. :-k
However, the map can still be use. So not all is lost. It is still a very good map.

Are you running any other SINGAPORE map besides MFM ?

Maybe you can post in the GPS DEVICE thread, under GARMIN NUVI 660.

O:)
Contribute exclusively to MFM. MSM don't get it !

epi wrote:Bros,
That are what I am trying to tell the map is correctly named. The Siglap Shopping Centre is just a name conveniently given to the building named "Siglap Centre" adjacent to it. The " Sipglap Centre" is the name physically held on top of its building. It can be easily confirmed and viewed by some other public Street view photo maps on-line around other than just a few alike ie. Onemap etc..
Need not to change or alter any things.
Thanks.

This still does not solve the issue of the Red Square Icons where one of the icons showed "Siglap Shopping Centre" in the wrong location (not "Siglap Centre" or "MiniTurf Club stretch of building" locations but at "Starbuck Siglap" location) and these Red Square Icons are appearing in my Nuvi 660 gmapsupp.img

Do you have any custom POI installed? The red icon looks like wifi hot spot from custom POI's.
Upload your contribution to MFM drop box if you don't want others to take your contributed tracklogs or POIs.

ALAMAK!
Bro OngCC is correct. I deleted it and it all disappeared.
Thanks Bro OngCC. :prayer:
Never thought that it would give this headache and so sorry bros yoladu and chuah for all the "silly" trouble I have caused. :peace:
Now I am back to normalcy.
