1- What software needed ?
Software for your PC or lappy - Garmin Mapsource (free download)
Recommended Garmin Mapsource version: 6.13.7 for Windows XP. Get MapSource Users Guide at here.

2- How to install Mapsource?

4- How to feedback error, POI (Point Of Interest) & track?

5- Why you need Garmin Mapsource ? What format file use for contribution?
The only Garmin database file format (*.gdb) that we needed. Transfering data from Garmin device to PC by using usb cable then click receive device icon. Then save it in gdb format. Refer here


6- Why you need to feedback, submit tracklog & POI (Point Of Interest)?
Good question.....? :-? Free ....MFM map :thumbsup: , Better ....MFM map :champ: , MFM map improvement .... =P~


7- How to contribute POI & Track using Mapsource?

8- How to do track log?
Use Garmin handheld model like Garmin eTrek, Garmin 60Csx, Garmin Colorado, Garmin Oregon, Papago R5800, Holux, Nokia Sports Tracker, I-Blue GPS Data logger & etc. Or other model refer Garmin Nuvi 2xx or Garmin Nuvi 2x5 / 7x5
Preferred 1-sec tracklog

9- How to start with new Garmin gadget?

Hi vivianvivian,

Follow this step:
1- Download Mapsource_6137.exe (recommended version.)
2- Run WinZip
3- Extract Mapsource_6137.exe
4- Go extracted folder, look for "MAIN.msi"
5- Click to run it - Main.msi
6- Then run "Setup.exe"
OR
Follow this step here
1-Download registry file here
2- Run mapsource.reg
OR
3- Click START > All program > Run > key-in REGEDIT > OK > click "File" > Import > mapsource.reg

Junction View is a feature that is embedded into firmware. It works automatically.

Take note that your set has to be a "Asian" local set for it to work.

Register at Garmin website with your unit ID# and you will find out if it is a local set or one from elsewhere of world.

Any link can explain how to upload *.gdb flle into my GPS .?

If dont have can somebody help me ?

I already try using mapsource but still blur due to MP :ko: :rolleyes:
cant detect & further more this file in separate file due to different sender.

Just plug in you GPSr, open mapsource (or your gdb file), then click send to device. :tq:

or any link can help me to solve this problem step bt step ?

Are you using Goozee?

GooZee is probably a China made GPS product and map support is questionable.
