I managed to get one tip from bro sharkteef: DRIVE SLOWLY for a better tracklog and more accurate one (THANKS BRO SHARKTEEF)

Any other tips, do's and dont's from the rest? Thank you in advance ya! Happy mapping, gpsing, tracking, cruising! :)

If you track at Taman area, you really need to drive slowly and look for some kid or "crossing" ball (kid might run out to collect the ball).

And don't track logging during kenduri season, you might find yourself "stuck" inside those road or alley.

Track as early as possible, not much traffic mah; and not so hot too.

Spare some notebook and pen, you might find it useful.

PS : your location 41250:40450 , is it Cassini grid system?

Do >
1. Download the Latest MFM map before do any tracking.
2. Check on your setting 1 sec track before any tracking. (If you drive slow), But if you drive fast...> set to 10m track.
3. Do take down "ALL" roads name, and usefull POIs.
4.

Don't >
1. Don't set "Lock on Road" when you track, set Offroad.
2. Don't tracking on a existing track, wasting time and petrol.
3.

Hi skylab. You've found us here.
We have similar GPSr, though I'm still on MFM v1.62 at the moment. 8-)
You are already using the "Nuvi 205w easter egg" feature to get the one second track log right? :-k

Hello Bro Sabre23t!

I'm currently surfing from Seremban @ mymom's house.
A'ah...we have the same GPSr bro. But I have not yet tried the EASTER EGG method for tracking. Looking forward to activate it later.
By the way, looking forward to see you & do tracking together-gether in future :)

Enjoy your Sunday!

I would enable the Trip Log (Tool >> Settings >> Map >> Trip Log >> Show) to display the path you have taken. These blue polylines will guide you NOT to track paths you have taken, especially in kampung area where road signage is minimal.
