Singawon and Jag,

Thanks for recommendations. I just tried RemoveIt and it picked up a few that Norton missed. I also googled for Trojan Guarder and one site gave this alert:

"TrojanGuarder is a rogue anti-spyware threat that secretly installs itself on your system with the help of a trojan parasite or via web browser security holes. Once in your system, TrojanGuarder starts to send you fake security warning pop-ups. Then, it tries to lure you into using their fake spyware scan and then scare you into buying the full TrojanGuarder version with false and exaggerated scan reports. "

That scared me off, so I did not touch Trojan Guarder.

I also have been using CCleaner lately and it is great to clean up unneeded files/registries and speedup the startup of my desktop.

I used to have Adware on my desktop too, but just took it out a few days ago as I believe that Norton Internet Security that I subscribe to also offers the same protection as Adware (I may be wrong). My Norton Internet Security 2009 subscription now allows me to install into 3 PCs, and I just did it form my desktop, laptop, and my son's desktop. Not bad actually for the price paid.

Search & Destroy http://www.safer-networking.org has a good reputation for detecting trojans, adware, etc.
