From my point of view, in order to have the junction view appearing on ur nuvi, one has to own the Garmin SG map. :$gone:
Malsingmaps alone may not be able to view this feature.

Apart from that as mention from MSM below;
adilothman wrote: Apart from better routing, at least 33% smaller file size, some immediate benefits of the NT map are : working SG postal codes (although our postal code data is less complete vs Mapking). This is just the tip of the iceberg. There are others : traffic light impedance, 5 point turn restrictions, proper treatment of U-turns, toll plaza detection and more. The MSM NT map would be better in many respects in the future.

IMHO, MSM has "volunteer" to support the updating of map errors counterpart to Garmin SG, using cgsmapper compiler.

As for us MFM community, we are still growing rapidly, reaching a new horizon beyond the iceberg will be achievable.. :rox:
Everyone contribute a bit, eventually we can enjoy and benefit more in our navigation.

AFAIK, junction view data file all carry extension JCV. By referring to the mapset names, it seems that only Tele Atlas mapset come with junction view feature.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

edchuang wrote:Found some info on the new Nuvi255W:

- Comes with Tele Atlas (for SG Map) and Malsing (For Mlysia Map).. thus the dual map bundled.
- Junction View is available only with Tele Atlas (Applicable to 200 odd junctions at the moment, not all)
- New Firmware to support Junction View
- Subscription for new map updates requires after 1 year free use of Tele Atlas... else can revert to Malsing.
- Free AC Charger and Casing
- No SD card
- Warranty by Navicom... plus maps downloads.

Can someone confirmed that only Tele Atlas Map come with junction view?

:tq:

yes, so far only 200 junctions available for junction view function.
Just only 200 junction ?? then release it likely as a big news !!!
Don't know What garmin's strategic ?
Testing on the Market ?? in order to know whether Worth to invest ??
Junction view Majority U only can find it in Singapore.
If the Sales of Nuvi still can't grow in Singapore or Malaysia by Garmin Authorize dealer.
I think Malaysia still need "Wait long long".. ](*,) ](*,) for this junction view.

Do ur guys think that Malfreemaps.com also benefit to MxM.
Do ur guys noticed that MFM most likely as tracklog,POI,Error report contribution forum and MxM likely as newbie Q&A forum.
Even if nobody contribute any tracklog/POI at MxM,
They also can come here to collect... May Be !
