the mayans only prepare their long calender up to 10 cycles (which is about 50 years for each long calendar cycle). you know, they got life too. beside it's not easy when you got no computer, calculator or slide ruler and depend solely on your keen eyes. and guess what, there is no double A paper too!!! not even giant's branded toilet paper to substitute it. they have to make do with just parchment and use quill to write on it. keeping 500x365 records manually!!! so when the spanish kill them all in 1511, of course we can only find their calender up to year 2012.
maybe if the spanish come 100 years early, we are laughing our ass off to previous generation who went brouhaha about the world ending in 1912.

I think the Mayan did not have a backup plan. So after he demised no one took over.

I know this place....it is somewhere in Teluk Bahang - N5 27.482 E100 12.858 , Penang...
I don't think the Mayan ever been there before.... so they are not related. One thing for sure... no calculator needed when you are there... just your empty stomach will do.... and remember to bring a lot of money and call me to join in...
