also bear in mind that the firmware version on the astro b.yond box is only at 1.0
there will be many more firmware upgrades in the near future and you can count on the new features which are already implemented in the remote control and set top box to slowly but surely spring to action, including the much awaited recording function where you can just connect an external hard disk to the usb port and record your movies or programs in high def!!

Got mine installed during lunch time. Superb HD quality exactly like playing a Blue ray movie.

Having problem here. I can't use this on my 2nd set LCD bcos no RF connector! So my installer ask me to get the AV-RF converter so that I can hook-up wth my 2nd LCD via the RF remote controller. Hopefully it's works but I do notice that the decorder only provide 1 set of AV socket..If I use that for my Home Theathe system..no more socket for the AV-RF converter..haizzz.. ](*,)

Heard you purchase a 40" plasma TV and ACryan PlayOnHD media player.

Now you are 1080P-man. Congrates and welcome to the club.

Need more information on your set-up.

Your LCD got RCA inputs ka? If got use that lah..

Not sure the Decoder can ouput video/sound to two TVs at the same time. Might be you have to switch between HDMI or RCA to use only one output.

bro stimix, there are the 2 to 1 audio connectors available and i've been using them for a long time now. can get in most electronic shops for about RM10 a piece...go for the gold plated ones, better quality...I'm also using a AV-RF converter for my astro byond decoder, but the picture quality is ok only and not as good as with the previous decoder.
