Writing

    1st April 2011

is considered "old-fashioned" in English today. The modern way is to write

    1 April 2011 (UK)
    April 1, 2011 (US)

But we still say "First April" or "April First", not "One April".

I thought we alway say "Aprils' Fool" for that day... :mrgreen: You're right don't have One April only One Malaysia.... :D

So, how you write/read the date does not matter, as long as other can understand, can oredi !

This topic thread is indeed amusing.... offers some good light laughs as well on Mao's equation.

I wonder, if Charman Mao is still alive in this day & age, how will he deduce when a "mouse" fails to click a message through??? :frus: :evil:

Ok, back to topic... double click if I may and when verbally expressing a date, it is fully correct & is still expected to have the "of" mentioned albeit old fashion or new trend involved. :thumbsup:
