Hi Chaicka and to MFM,

Apologies if the notice we placed suggested that we recomend MSM instead of MFM.

The notice was meant for customers "Using SLA-Malfreemaps With Local Garmin GPS Unit " who had purchased the Garmin Local Set and want to continue enjoying the Junction View or whatever feature which Garmin so conveniently locked to the Local Set firmware.

If all maps are selected, there will be conflicts in the Garmin unit and routing cannot be done.

Our complete guide is located here.

We will make it clearer in our new guide that MFM is the most comprehensive map for Singapore and Malaysia.

I think Eastgear can just reword the guide to ask the user to choose either Map A or Map B but not both. There is really no need to indicate which map is better. That is for the user to try and decide.

Gist of the matter being, most end-users have nary a clue!

Trust me on that... I get enquiries from people like what I've mentioned on a weekly basis at work.
