Re: Thailand Map

Just had a thought, would members here like to have ability to auto route from Malaysia into Thailand on our newly release Thai maps?

Our mapping team has several tracklogs from Mly into Thailand which will be implemented in Release 2 in about a week's time.

It's a simple matter to synchronise external nodes for both mapsets - ie if Mappers here agree to it and let us know the external node coordinates.

Thanks.

still have meh .. i tried. . but can't find.. and registeration is LOCK.

Hi ahnah

We have now separated the Thailand map into a whole separate mapset.

Free Thailand mapswas available from yesterday following the launch of our new forum due to change in web hosting and forum software as the old one was problematic.

Will ditch the old partial Thailand map from Laos & Vietnam maps at the next release coming soon.

Plans are to eventually fill this up with more details.

We have a contour map of Thailand but haven't figured how to release that without breaking the bank at 285Mb per download !

thanks bro .. me back from Bangkok already.

rcmaps,

I just popped over to AsiaGPS and noted that it is still in the early stages of growth. As I can see that both AsiaGPS and Malfreemaps have similar ideals, why not consider establishing closer ties to make a combined MalSingThai map? MalFree can provide the expertise to guide and assist AsiaGPS in growing and professionalising the mapper community too. Who knows, in future if the community grows, the map can be extended to add Laos and Vietnam too.

Just a thought.
