Thanks. Managed to use MapConverter to convert MFM into Mac format. Already have Mapsource running on the same machine on Windows7 via VMWare.

That's Mapsource on Windows running side by side with Basecamp (MacOS). Apart from the 3D view in Basecamp, everything else looks the same.

Yes, I did try it, but without paid subscription, images are limited to low-res.
I take everything in moderation, including moderation.

alamak, if I tell you the map looks exactly the same, would you have bother trying out Basecamp ? :tease:

At least the Basecamp doesn't distort the map like later version of the mapsource.
Contribute exclusively to MFM. MSM don't get it !

Actually the "diamond shape" issue has been resolved since v6.16.2.

System requirement is "Windows XP Service Pack 3 or later is required, 1 GB memory"... Older PC cannot use BaseCamp :cry:

Why not? XP can be updated, and memory can be upgraded.

Spot on Bro, but I think I better change to a newer and faster machine. Pricewise within budget with stiff competition around... :D :lol: But, I guess Mapsource v6.13.7 is a faithful workhorse and will sufice at the moment...

can use but a slow when switching scale. Can get abit irritating :frus:
