Cruise sasar masuki pasaran antarabangsa

CYBERJAYA 4 Julai - Cruise GPS System Sdn. Bhd.

Turut hadir Ketua Pegawai Operasi Cruise GPS System Sdn. Bhd., Syed Mohamad Taha.

I suspect the modus operandi is something like this: Pay the Chinese in China to develop the device for them. All they have to do here is create a simple "show-off" RnD department, doing some pretty trivial testing. Then apply for official recognition status (Sirim, MSC Status Co etc). Later claim it is all made in Malaysia.

This is somewhat similar to what CSL is doing with their hand phones.

nop, CSL handphone is not like that, they build by their self.
actually i ever going to their Kilang at Shah Alam.. and seen they built csl phone by their self,
the embedded program inside is their self not from china..
but the sparepart from china, assembling in malaysia.
(all electronic manufacturing in whole world was OEM to China, even USA, Germany, France.. etc
.. cause by low cost)

Most likely the are using mapking gps software under licenced from Mapking. Get a China made GPS hardware cheap-cheap one, asked the factory to put their logo on the device and sell it here in Malaysia.

Let see now, how many brand using licenced mapking sofware
1. Gopher
2. Cruise
3. ....
4. ....

As much as I hate to say it, but they do have a good business plan to colloborate with other corporate entity. Plus, Bank Rakyat is a well known entities in Malaysia.

However, in their website the map is.......coming soon
