Anyone knows where can I download the PC world map for mapsource?

Dear Sifus,

I met a problem.. currently my pc hardisk was "kong".. been replace a new hardisk and found that I could not setup Mapsource.

reason.. I have try downloaded latest + earlier version.. and the screen show me that "no previous version mapsource detected".

means, from now on.. I could not enjoy the Mapsource facilities?

My nuvi880 unable to track satellite signal at all over wkend. When I check the GPS signal interface segment, just goes blank without the little numeric icons on the axis/signal bars and etc....
Current loaded v1.61.
Can any1 help urgently???

Done so. Icons are back.. BUT system unable to fix satellite signal at all... arrgh!!

hehe..funny.. i am asking then i give the answer. After i google the answer, i get this:

1. don't double click the downloaded file (mapsource 6156)
2. Right click and extract it by using Winrar and choose "extract here"
3. look at extracted file. Dont click at setup first, but double click MSMAIN
4. Then, after finish run setup..done

I installed Mapsource Ver. 6.15.6

When I try to open a gpx file (tracklog converted using wNutrak), I get an error "C:\xxxxxx.gpx" could not be imported.

I read that gpx format can be opened with Mapsource.

Please help. Thanks.

Maybe something wrong with your converted GPX, why don't you upload it here for others to try?

Thanks bro dvpro, I tried opened the current.gpx and temp.gpx in my nuvi and no problem at all.
I guess you were right, it might be some error during the file conversion.
