Anyone have any idea why after I converted my Garmin nuvi 205W from US to SG/MY and loaded with MFM and MSM maps, but the GPS location seem like out of actual position?
Currently I have disable MSM's map and running on MFM's map by uncheck Malsingmaps Malaysia/Singapore/Brunei NT 2009.5 at TOOLS->SETTINGS->MAP->MAP INFO.
Please help.

You need to delete one of the map.

yes, you can rename it.. by using any others name but not gmapsupp. file name.

Both used the same file name.. under gmapsupp.
What I do is.. copy two of the maps into my PC. and install only one map.
If the Map is what you want for your device.. Than you dun have to do anyothers thing.
If that is not the map you want.. delete and install the others map..

By refer to the attached screen shot. Can you please advise me which files are belong to MFM and MSM so that I can cut the correct files out from my GPS device?

I believe you have a combined MFM and MSM in Nuvi which is named as GMAPSUPP.IMG. Since it's a combined map file, to remove both combined MFM + MSM map, delete that IMG map file first, and reinstall with MFM's GMAPSUPP.IMG. Before deleting original files, do back them up first.

Noticed that the basemap (gmapbmap.img) is ~ 90M in file size, isn't that abnormal?
