Garmin MobileXT for S60 3rd Ed 5.00.50

on my Nokia 5800 , v5.00.50 has faster route recalculation , previously occasionally will hang on route recalculation. and noticed that it is faster as well .. on calculating routes ..

on my Nokia N82 not much difference .. perhaps it is fixes for Symbian S60 v5 phones

Yeah, I guess fixes are more for N5800. I do feel the program is a tad faster compared to V.40. And also some dude says it fixes the hanging problem whilst in map browsing mode. Also, it fixes the crash if Turn Preview is set to ON, when using in landscape mode.

Another encounter a problem before: When you driving, it suddently detect your car on other road, thus it will re-calculate the route again and again. Is it my Nokia N85 phone need calibation or what ? The whole journey from my office back to home, non-stop of detect on wrong road.

Using: Garmin XT Ver5.00.50, Map MFM v1.61

Hope someone can help to rectify the problem. FYI, if i using google map, it works fine. The downside is need 3G services.

You may wish to consider setting the GMXT to locate based on Locked To Roads as opposed to Show At Actual GPS Position.

It already selected based "on road", the problem still exist.

maybe you can try change route preference to faster time from short distance or vice versa

I changed the route preference from faster time to shorter distance, it seem works on this morning when i drive out. Will try few more time if go out tomorrow. Many thanks!!

Please provide the location. The mapper unable to reolve it without the location. Tq.
