anyway, JCV is just an additional feature, as what u said, GOOD to have, not MUST have. The important thing is the basic feature that we can do navigation. Alternative, u can load the SgMal City Navigator NT 2009.31 map to enable the JCV (correct me if i m wrong), but the map is not so up to date.
For newbie, it is not so encourage to flash the unit.
