Gentlemen..good news for your trusted 60csx users.Maybe Im the last one to know,however after a while never been updated my unit by using Garmin web updater..there's a newer version ie version 3.70..I was using version 3.60 all the time!! ](*,) ..I just wonder what this newer version does?? :-k ..does it increase the performance or shall it make my unit goes haywire?I won't know untill its uploaded. My broadband is rather slow here...have to wait patiently :frus:

Do Garmin 60csx support polygon / icon MFM map??

Hi, feel like getting a 60csx for trekking but dunno whether the handheld support the wonderful icon MFM map. Probably posted somewhere but can't find it.. :mrgreen: Tq .

For my Vista HCx, the polygons and icons are visible when I set the map details settings to be high.
Everyone contribute a bit, eventually we can enjoy and benefit more in our navigation. :thumbsup:

The reception for 60CSx still quite good under the heavy jungle shade.
Accuracy is around 4-6m +-, EXCEPT when you move around, then your accuracy will drop to 5-10m +-.

A 60CSx is selling about SGD495 (without SD card) in Singapore.
