Is that so?
I checked the forum. There were some members with Garmin-1350 stated that they could view POI icons in their units.
Please refer to http://malfreemaps.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... 6&start=70
If POI icons are not supported in Garmin-1350 now, will it be supported in the future?

Let's think positive, everything is possible...
Re: MFM + MSM

Garmin 1350 - my puzzle.
Just got the Garmin 1350 few days back. Have been sucessful in downloading and installing the new map files from here earlier on. Trouble is, now my notebook seems unable to detect the presence of the garmin device as another storage unit in My Computer.
Now the notebook is charging my Garmin, but when I selected My Computer on my notebook - it does not recognise that there's another device connected. I even purchased a new piece of cable, but still it doesn't work.
Pls help and let me know what is the correct procedure to connect the Garvice device to my notebook?

Maybe you can try to download the USB Driver for Garmin under this link below.
Garmin USB Driver Updates & Downloads
I suspect your laptop lack of the driver to recognize the GPS device.
Everyone contribute a bit, eventually we can enjoy and benefit more in our navigation.
Re: Garmin 1350 - my puzzle.
I think there is a bug in the new firmware of Nuvi 1XXX. May be you can write to Garmin on this.
Alternate is power on your unit prior to plug in and connect the USB cable to your Computer.

Your notebook should have more than 1 usb port, right?! Try connect it with different usb port...
FYI, the latest firmware for Garmin 1350 is 2.50, you may refer to here : viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3741
Re: Nuvi 1350
Thank you so much for the reply. Before I logon here, I have plugged in the USB cable to Garmin 1350. Result - today my notebook recognised the presence of Garmin. I have also downloaded the garmin driver as suggested. My software version 2.5
Hope from now onwards everything will be fine.
Have a great day!

Re: Nuvi 1350
Is there a way to adjust the time in 1350 by increment or decrement by 1 minute?

I don't think so and you would not need to set the time because I believe the time is very accurate as it is taken from the GPS satellite source. Hence, you are only required to set the time zone.
