Just bought the 255W from local SG agent , found that there is no such function ecoRoute™ .
The spec on garmin webpage show 255W has such function .

Any 255W user set got such function.

Thanks

Try loging into webupdater via the Garmin.sg site. It should be a firmware adder.

This is quite common.

I bought a 255W last month and it is an US version. It has TTS and ecoRoute but no Junctionview and 3D buildings.

This month the local distributor released a "local verion" 255W with Junctionview.

And the Junctionview/3D building cannot be installed on my 255W. Updater is no use.

C'est la vie

drsec,

On my understanding.. ecoroute only applicable to certain model and not 255W at this moment.

Really US model come with it??

Cheers!

Yes, 2x5 do supports ecoroute, but through software updates via webupdater.

Which region? US, EU, TWN, MY/SG?
The update is for US/EU.

Even 2x5TWN latest software v2.70, still no ecoroute features.

Here is why...

http://www.garmin.com.tw/products/Nuvi2 ... nload.html
版本由2.40到2.50: (Changes from 2.40 -> 2.50)
與英文機種4.50版軟體同步更新。 (Synchronize with English software version v4.50)

Ecoroute feature being added into English/US 2x5 starting from v4.80
