Stumbled upon this thread and feeling amused by the stuffs we do here....
My Nokia battery powered Nuvi 300 still running on the same battery I installed in 2010.... Wow!... the best value for money DIY.... :lol:

BTW, this is the most expensive GPS I ever bought.... Costing over RM2200.00... ](*,)

Bro Moey,

I was at Garmin SG (Navicom) yesterday to purchase a replacement rubber sucker/holder for my Nuvi 2575. I asked the CS guy there whether battery replacements could be done locally and he told me that it can only be done in Taiwan. That's ridiculous, Garmin!!!

I understand your frustration. Let's organize a DIY workshop/GG to change batteries... :$$: ... These blood suckers must be made to realize the importance of affordable after sales and service.... :mrgreen: 8-)
