Garmin GPS

i'm not sure if this has been asked before.

currently using a 205w/255w, trying out newer sets like 42LM

i am happy with 205/255w as it allows simpler search method, eg, if i need to find takashimaya, i kust type keywords like shima, it will search and show results with 'shima', thus as long as we know how to key in the right key words, search is much easier.
browse the active map is much simpler and smoother too as compared to 42LM

42LM, however if i need to find the same landmark, i'll need to spell the first few letters of the word, till the gps managed to get a match, i still need to click on the word. then it'll be shown.

the only plus point of 42LM is that it simulates the vehicle movement while in tunnel, thus still guide u out from the right exit under ground.

any newer models these days can do search like the older models like 205/255w? i do noticed other brands like marbella allows keywords, (typing a few words) search as well as having a straight line link between current location to destination..
