Nuvi 2567 LM issues

Postby tjunkie » Thu May 01, 2014 3:28 am

Here are some of the issues I have encountered. Firmware updated to the latest version 2.7, Mfm, MSM and Navteq 2014

At random times when calling via bluetooth, the other party can't hear me although I heard them perfectly.

Voice command also stop working at random. Even rebooting the device won't work, but somehow at some random times it works again.

Beside these issue, everything works perfectly.

Anyone facing similar problems?

I just bought it from Singapore PC show.

Seems fine after updating to all latest maps. 2014.20, and latest firmware 2.7.
Try go to maps and choose to use one map only; obviously use MFM map...

Hello, I also just bought this. Cannot seem to get the MFM custom poi like speed traps to work. Just getting "tong tong" sound. My previous 1460 can play the wav sound.

Anyone got it to work or the device does not support this?

make sure u use (checked) only the right map data as well as POI.. too many map data checked can crash the system :finga:

Yes, have installed and enabled only MFM latest map. Remove and reinstalled Cpoi also.
Did u got urs working?

Update---
Have removed all maps except MFM. Created a CPI file using POI loader with a wav alert.
Still only get the default sound.

I think something wrong with 2567.

Email Garmin Support 3 times already and no reply.

Contacted Navicom and they just say customs alert is no longer supported on newer Nuvi models.

Not good Gamin replied the following:

We are sorry custom poi alerts with wav alerts are not supported as they are not Garmin genuine and legal software.

So I guess no more custom alerts sounds in the future.
