Advice on GPS with Live Traffic in Singapore

Postby carlover » Sun Dec 01, 2013 11:22 pm

Guys,

I have been using my Holux GPS from EastGear but they have stopped the support of updating the map since March this year so I will need to look for a new GPS.

Any advice on a better GPS with Papago engine with live traffic, live carpark information etc?

Thanks.

Guys,

Since nobody reply me on my post so I have decided to go back to Garmin this time round and bought myself the Nuvi 3560 with Live Traffic FM Receiver for Singapore usage.

Anyone knows whether there is any local TTS files to pronounce our Singapore roads correctly?

Good choice on the Garmin. No knowledge on TTS for local usage. I wonder if we can create one.... :-k

After using the NUVI, the traffic light alerts are very irritating as you will get the alert when you are travelling on the viaduct or highway on top while the alerts are for the traffic light junction below.

I do remember that there is a setting where you can put the height of the alert when I was doing the compiling previously.

May I know who is doing the compiling for the traffic light, Speed alert POI now?
