Well I'm using this set. The one only complain about this will be the searching of POIs.

When using mfm (cGPSmapper) maps, I can't find anything when I use "Where To? >> Search".

I have to go to, for e.g. IMM shopping mall, "Where To? >> Catergories >> Shopping >> Search" then key in IMM. Only then IMM related search will comes out. Whereas for the older nuvi 1350 that I tried and used before, can straightaway search for in the POIs section.

Guess that's my only complain for this. As for POI not showing up when navigating, that's no problem for me.

Other then that, It's a good set.

the problem lies with the new interface. In older sets, there's a POI icon. However, this set does not have.

That's explains the more extra steps needed.

I bought the Garmin 52LM last month. So far I find this GPS the worst I have used among 7 GPS I owned. It is very fond of resetting itself/rebooting as it pleases and hang after about 1/2 hour of usage. It is very frustrating to use. I have upgraded to the latest firmware but the problems mentioned still persist. In short, don't buy this GPS until Garmin post a newer upgrade.

Totally agree with you. The newest version software also got the same problem. When the time routing to a place will always lag and i already sent the device to warranty 2 times. Still got the same problem.
