yalo.. i hated that.

but i noticed something. when the map is not displaying all those POI it is smooth. when it is displaying all poi it is a bit laggy like older nuvi.

i remember my 205W sometimes hangs when i move around the map to find POI. mayb they cannot solve that problem and hide the POI to make scrolling smoother. which IMHO is utterly useless because when u scroll around the map it is because you are looking for a POI.

crazy isn't it?

for me poi is important when navigate..while driving i can see where is shop, where is hotel, where is school, petrol pump ...al at the same time..so easy for me to compare with the real situation along the route..that why i still keep my old nuvi 200w...myfirst gps [-o< i will consider tro get new one if it can show poi when navigate [-o<

I just bought the 52LM just now.
After setting the map detail to "more", I don't see and HDB blocks on the map. Will try and install malfreemaps.

I don't see the POI when navigating.

They have the "ERP cost saving" option now. wonder if it really works.
