Sorry to hear about this, Bro moeyhc. Hope they'll give you a full refund.

Thanks Bro for the concern.

Aeco Technologies has replied that their Juru office will take up the warranty and they will be calling me soon to have it fix or exchange.... :D

I suggest that you request for an exchange. It would take longer to fix it.

I'll let them decide after their diagnostics. Hope it is a small problem and they are able to fix it on the spot. I have a hunch the camera unit is the culprit.

I also notice this model prompted the JCV way ahead of time compared to my Taiwan 205W n 1350. Hope there is a new firmware to fix it.

Just to confirm, running Garmin-MFM NT map on one Nuvi and comparing it with Garmin NT map on another Nuvi, the Nuvi with Garmin-MFM JCV prompts earlier vs the other Nuvi using Garmin NT ... is yours the same scenario ?

Bro SB,

I can't confirm the JCV as my unit is returned to Aeco for replacement. Their Penang office tested it and found the main unit faulty. They immediately offer a replacement but the Penang office does not have RLM stock. Will test when the replacement arrives... Cheers
