eddy_duyung wrote:Got " Kiblat Compass " as Benson stated above..
but the kiblat directions is not accurate..i'm as muslims now that..
comparison :-
1.Set the ordinary compass in Nuvi 2465 to " MECCA " or " MEDINA ",thats will show you the right directions

2.In " KIBLAT COMPASS " there is " NO " options to set the compass needle direction to the right directions..

So no point to use this " KIBLAT COMPASS " totally wrong directions.

I think the correct way to use the compass for KIBLAT is to

1. Set the ordinary compass in Nuvi 2465 to " MECCA "
2. Move a few step in 1 direction so that the gps unit will correctly point the direction you are moving with relative to the direction intended (In this case - Mecca)

Hi All,

I think I have lost the usb cable that came with my garmin set. Is the cable a propietary garmin connector or just any normal cable with usb 2.0 mini connector will do?

Thanks

=======

answering my own question. Just found the answer after posting. normal usb cable will work.

Be patient. Sometimes it takes longer ... how many satellite does your GPS see ? Move to a different location to get more satellites .. unit needs at least 4-5 satellites for lock on
