NUVI 1310T

Anyone, please assist. I bought a nuvi 1310T from dubai. How to replace original Europe map to Malaysia, singapore and brunei map?
Anyone please assit.. Please consider i am new on this.. Thanks

you can use both of europe map & mfm map.
name it europe map as = gmapprom.img
name it mfm map as = gmapsupp.img

Hai, i copied the malaysia map into Nuvi 1310 (G:/.System folder) but where can i select the map? Please advice. Thanks

For enable / disable maps .... MainMemory - Tools - Settings - myMaps

You do not put additional maps in /system. You put them in /map

It is NOT recommended that you use MainMemory/map as any error can brick your Nuvi.

Put them in SD card /map

Use windows to create one :-'

HAi There, where can i placed the MAP folder? Is it under G:/.system folder?

Jason, my instructions did say do it in SD card and create a directory /Map and put the Map File gmapsupp.img there.

Also, rename the file to whatever name you want eg .. MFM.img

It is NOT recommended to put updates / new map into MainMemory as any corruption can "Brick" your Nuvi.

Do not understand your question .. do you mean why GPS is NOT acquiring satellite signal? First time satellite lock takes longer.... better to stand under the clear blue sky ....
