I only have 2 orignal motorola chargers, 500 mA and 850 mA, and both of it can fully charge my nuvi. The difference is the time taken to fully charge the device. FYI, Laptop/PC usb port typically supplies 500 mA of current, also can fully charge the device. For faster charging, set it in charging mode or use 'Remove safely .." in your PC/Laptop.

What is the time taken to fully charge the Nuvi if using original motorola chargers, 500mA and 850mA? Is there any indication on Nuvi showing the device is fully charge?

I am sorry, I cannot tell the time taken, because, most of the time, I charge my nuvi before I go to sleep. But roughly, 3 hours with 850 mA and 4 to 5 hours with 500 mA. If I have time, I will do the test :).

TQ

I have an issue using the suction cup mount because most of time my car is park under the sun. Due to the hot sun, the cup mount will easily drop off from the windscreen.

I visited Garmin website, they have one accessory call Portable Friction Mount which suitable for Nuvi series. I don't know whether anyone of you have try it before? any feedback after using it?
