This thread is getting exciting day by day... 1st we have the 3xx and now the 2xx. What else is coming?

Bro zerko, If you are around Pg. than I don't mind to help you take a look at your SD card problem. My N95 card slot jammed too... but got it working again.

Bro gpssin, Nice pictures of the charger board. Will be good reference when I open mine to change it this weekend.

Thanks for all the help.... cheers!

Thanks for your offer. The problem as shown below is due to the plastic latch which the pin slides and "catches" when the SD card is inserted, has worn out. This happened after I dropped my Nuvi and it landed exactly on the SD Card slot (the SD card sprang out) after that SD cards can be inserted but won't "latch".
The next picture shows how I removed the spring from the slot. Since it won't latch, by removing the spring I can still insert SD card in and it won't spring out.
If you happen to have a spare latch or have another idea pls let me know.

Bro zerko,

I think you have to change the SD card holder. This is pretty standard part and should be easy to find. If you do not have good de-soldering tool you can use a side cutter to cut the holder's leads and than de-solder the casing tag. This will ensure you do not Copper lift any lead pads. These 1/2 oz Cu PCB are prone to Cu lift. All the best... cheers!

Yes it is..... butttt... with the old battery. The 'equivalent' I found is only 800mAh and do not want it. So I still need to buy one. Is your stock in (no mod needed type)?... cheers!

All Bro,

Do you know where can I buy a nuvi 200 battery? And any guideline for me to change it?
Appreciate a lot.
