Bro silverbeauty,

I took your advice religously & seriously; for almost an eternity, I refused to even take a look at the 3790.
And then hor....... I went to Perfect Watch and played with it.
& then hor ....... I bought it after 3 minutes!!!
Came with the traffic thingy.

After that, I told myself that since I shall be using this unit mostly for travelling, I shall be using the standard Garmin NT maps. Hahaha! The old 360 is still chugging along in my car.

Discounting the non ability to use 3rd party maps , the 3790T is a pleasure to use with its razor sharp graphics, topo display, full screen, beautiful form-factor.
Same as you, my 765 still cannot retire

Don't buy it until they fix the 3rd party maps. i already buy and regret. this is my protest until they fix this issues.

my 3790 seem look like ok picture look great. all road in area ipoh are shows as in my 255w only some poi and polygon did not show. i'm using mfm map since i have update to 2.30.

Bro rohiza23, I check my 3790T and concur with your reporting of MFM map showing all roads / POI in Ipoh

However this is not the case with some cities in Malaysia / Singapore.

Can you verify your set and look and see if all roads / POIs shows on your set for the below mentioned cities ?

With firmware 2.30, I check some major cities from South to North of Mal-Sin Peninsula. Some cities OK while others are not showing roads. I am on MFM 101108.

Maybe this gives some clues to Mappers to analyze for a solution

One thing I forgot to mentioned, my MFM maps are compiled with polygons removed.
