Re: How to Manage Papago POIs with MapSource

bro 76gpsguy, Keep it up! I remembered way back you got the roundabout direction corrected in the img file, then recently it was the track conversion for the Papago. Now this! :prayer: :tq: :rox: Edit : 1. I have converted my current.gpx (from nuvi) to PPGPOI17.DAT, but has partial success. Favorit...

How to Manage Papago POIs with MapSource (23/8/2009)

Papago X2/X3 navigator allows users to create their own POIs. The POIs are saved in binary format file (PPGPOI17.dat) under [Papago S/W Folder]\Save. However these POIs can only be viewed and edited in Papago GPS device, unlike Garmin’s users who have alternative way by using Garmin product, MapSour...

It works flawlessly converting the R5800 binary file into gpx format. =D> =D> =D> BTW, what are those .pts file in the \NAVI\MagaNaviser for?

This file just saved part of tracklog coordinates (without time information).

Papago X2/X3 Tracklog Converter

Currently, Papago X2/X3 navigator able to record tracklogs and view it in GPS device only. The tracklogs are saved in binary format files (*.bin) under the [Papago S/W folder]\MagaNaviser\. Some X3 versions allow users to export the recorded tracklogs to kml format and view it in Google Earth. This ...

Re: SLA-Garmin map

I don’t think it will work. Remember the issue of the same map ID between MFM and MSM maps. Unless our Bro antyong changes the MFM map ID in the future release. Bro 76gpsguy, your assumption is correct, and the worst part is even if using SLA/MFM map alone in device (without any standalone MFM map)...

Re: SLA-Garmin map

At the moment, the SLA-Garmin map is combined with MFM v1.62 into a single IMG file. Antyong mentioned that they will be separated in the future, then, we should be able to replace the MFM map with the latest version . The question is: Will the unlock codes given to us now be able to unlock the fut...
