Well said, moeyhc!

Re: Garmin Fenix
I bought it when it had just been launched in SG and was on offer at S$499. Good price, considering that Garmin in the US is selling for US$399 and the implied exchange rate is 1.25 against the S$.

Re: How to install Mapsource on Windows 7 64 bit?
Thanks for your input, guys.
I got it to work; still don't know what was wrong. On a brand new Sony Vaio, I restored the whole partition back to factory default, installed a map with a bundled old version of Mapsource first, then installed the latest Mapsource. It now works like a charm.
Cheers.

Re: How to install Mapsource on Windows 7 64 bit?
Vash_h, SIGH. All was ok in XP Pro. I moved on to Apple. Now trying to install maps in Win 7 64bit. Using the msmain.msi for mapsource 6.16.3 was ok. Mapsource is in but no maps. I used the default directory from the MFM installer but mapsource can't see the files. In which directory did you install...

Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY
This is a strange one........ Used the 3790 in a friend's car on battery power without the cradle & charger. When I powered down, the battery was at 75%. (Powered down by holding power button & selecting power off) After that, it would not start up no matter what I did - press power, press &...

Re: Garmin Nuvi3790 SG/MY
Bro silverbeauty, I took your advice religously & seriously; for almost an eternity, I refused to even take a look at the 3790. And then hor....... I went to Perfect Watch and played with it. & then hor ....... I bought it after 3 minutes!!! Came with the traffic thingy. After that, I told m...
