Re: Day trip to Johor - help!

Great! I am heading to PD next Monday. I hope it would be a quiet place! I am not much of a running-around person, prefer peace :)

Planning to go via 2nd link, NSE north and exit to E29 at Senawang area - assuming it is the best path.

Wow! B2Bomber, your knowledge is awsome! You must write a book about these things. Never heard them before, but, they make perfect sense.

Re: If a Singapore car meets with an accident in Malaysia

Thank you for the replies. So, the summary is, unless the incident involves an injury (or involves a pedestrian/cyclist), we don't have to call Police to come to the scene. I need to talk to my insurer, and unless they require me to bring a police report, there is no requirement for me to go to poli...

Re: POIs for Singapore 2010 - July~Aug

100823 100809 Adding the "checkpoint" (Tuas or Woodlands) as a "via point" messes up the whole route due to the road-split. So, I suggest these (attached file) tracks to be added to correct the routing error. Suggested Checkpoint Tracks.gdb Alternatively, we can split the POI int...

Re: If a Singapore car meets with an accident in Malaysia

IMO, if it's a fender bender (i.e. no injuries involved) calling for the police and having them issue a police report must be done specially if your insurance requires this report Do we have to wait without moving vehicles till Police arrives at the accident scene? Or, driving to a police station t...

If a Singapore car meets with an accident in Malaysia

I hope it will never happen, but if it does happen, what will be the procedure? Will someone with experience explain please? Do we have to always call police? Do we need to get anything in writing from police? or writing down details of involved vehicle is adequate from legal and insurance perspecti...

Re: POIs for Singapore 2010 - July~Aug

To my understanding, the existing link line on the map is the Entrance/Exit Gate (as well the car park) pathway Position lead to Singapore Post Centre. The "10 Eunos Road 8" should be deleted as it is the address location of Singapore Post Centre. The Singapore Post Centre is already ther...

Re: POIs for Singapore 2010 - July~Aug

Highway exist names are very useful to add as "via points" to construct a route - specially those between two highways. I noticed that Ramp and Exit names (in Singapore side) are very ad-hoc therefore; hard to search, and often not clear which one (from Changi side, or from Tuas side) by l...
