Re: 42LM

I have a 40LM, not a 42LM but they should be similar. Can't put any GPS files into the SD card; its only used for your personal songs, etc. The GPX folder is in the internal storage of the 42LM. I can't remember how I transferred my favourites from my old Nuvi to the 40LM; I thought it was just a st...

Re: Nuvi 55 hidden system folder?

I just transferred the Temp.gpx file to the new Nuvi 55 and it worked - all the Favourites are there now!

Re: Nuvi 55 hidden system folder?

Bro Moey,

Thanks. I still have MapSource and using it a lot, but I have not used it to transfer favourites, waypoints, etc. So, going for the easier way - rename to Temp.gpx and transfer over to the new Nuvi. Trying it tomorrow; hope it works.

Re: Nuvi 55 hidden system folder?

Actually the Nuvi 55 belongs to a friend and I am trying to help him update maps, etc. One thing we want to do is transfer the Favourites from his old Nuvi 52 to the new 55. As I understand it, it is simply taking the current.gpx file from the Nuvi 52, rename it to Temp.gpx, and transferring this to...

Nuvi 55 hidden system folder?

Anyone knows how to access the hidden system folder. In the older Nuvi 52, I could access by typing ".system" but this don't seem to work on the Nuvi 55.

Re: Changing The Nuvi 3xx Battery - A Step By Step Guide

Bro Moey,

I was at Garmin SG (Navicom) yesterday to purchase a replacement rubber sucker/holder for my Nuvi 2575. I asked the CS guy there whether battery replacements could be done locally and he told me that it can only be done in Taiwan. That's ridiculous, Garmin!!!

Re: HERE for Android Beta

My Papago M11 is a paid version, but I think it is now free in PlayStore - Papago - SG&MY. I use MFM Papago version X8.5-X9.0 on the M11.

Re: HERE for Android Beta

Thanks for the HERE Beta apk. I have just installed and played with it for a short while - looks good. In Spore, can also search by Postal Code - that's great!
