USB cable is the biggest suspect but it can easily be ascertained if you hear an audio acknowledgement from your PC that USB has been detected and software has been installed for it. If so, then USB may not be the problem.

I would reboot (RESTART) the PC.

As I understand, gmapprom.sum isn't needed at all. It contains a checksum that is used to verify the map when it is first installed, and after that it is not used. So, gmapprom.sum can be ignored & left in main memory without any change. All .sum files are for the purpose of checking the integr...

U re wrong bro, i have seen it with my eyes in my friend garmin 62s and he claimed that he got the map from his friend that using 60csx. Due to i lost his contact, i unable to find him for getting the map. Can you buy such maps from Garmin? Can you get it from MSM? If not where do you get such maps...
