What is the name of the map you say you can select in Ubuntu Mapsource? I wouldn't have thought Mapsource looks at Gmapsupp.img for the map data. Try this :- Ctrl T => paste in this coordinate N3.15033 E101.71143 => ok when hovering the mouse over it, it does display the text but still no maps disp...

Hi everybody, I've just installed ubuntu into my DELL laptop. I like it very much. I also downloaded wine to run windows programs. 1) I managed to run MFM installer and get the gmapsupp.img generated as in win7. 2) I managed to install mapsource and open it.
